About Chris Pilz

I’m Chris Pilz, a lifelong music fan and Community Music Activist with a passion for supporting live music, the artists who perform it, and the venues that keep it thriving.

You’ll often find me at a show somewhere along Florida’s West Coast—checking out a local band, catching a national act, talking with musicians and fellow fans, or simply enjoying the energy that only live music can create.

Over the years, I’ve gotten to know people throughout the local music community and have become more involved in helping spread the word about the artists, venues, and shows I believe deserve attention. What started with simply loving live music has grown into something much bigger.

For me, it means showing up, supporting the scene, and helping other people discover great live music.

I support artists at every level—from musicians playing local bars and clubs to bands performing on some of the area’s biggest stages. I also support venues that recognize how important live entertainment is to their community.

ChrisOnTheSpot.com is a natural extension of that.

This site is where I can share the shows, venues, bands, and experiences I discover along the way. You’ll find live music features, stories from the scene, venue spotlights, concert information, and opportunities to find tickets to upcoming shows.

I’m not here to tell you what music you should like. I’m here to help you get out there, experience live music for yourself, and support the people who keep it playing.
